Water: A Medium for Life Fundraiser

The Newark Delaware Professional EWB Chapter will be partnering with the University of Delaware EWB Student Chapter and the University of Delaware Department of Art and Design (Art Ambassadors Program) to co-host an art show by UD students and celebrating the work of Engineers Without Borders!

The show, titled “Water: A Medium for Life,” will celebrate projects of the two EWB chapters focusing on bringing clean, sustainable sources of water to communities in Malawi, the Philippines, and Kenya. The event aims to raise awareness for Engineers Without Borders and the Department of Art and Design.

Artwork inspired by the EWB projects and made by UD art students, as well as photos from the EWB trips, will be available for purchase through a silent auction. All proceeds from the event will support EWB projects and UD art and design students.

The event will be held on Thursday Feb. 23, from 4-7 p.m. in the Taylor Hall Gallery near Old College.

Refreshments will be available.

The event is free and open to the public.
