We had a successful implementation trip in February and are looking forward to our 2nd implementation trip this coming October. We were able to trial the design of the rainwater catchment system which began collecting water the week after we returned from the trip! We were also able to partner with an organization that installs weather stations around Africa to leverage data and we got them connected with our community. They installed a weather station and we are able to receive outputs such as rainfall data electronically to see how much water we should be capturing with our system. Now we can replicate the system on additional school buildings until enough water can be supplied to support all students for the entire school year. Our team has been working hard to prepare for the trip, applying everything they learned from the first implementation.
